Will my carpet be just as clean as using detergents?

Yes, the only difference is there will be no residue left in your carpet that may attract dirt in the future.

Is this a more expensive way of cleaning?

Not at all, these safe carpet cleaning solutions don’t cost us any more than traditional detergents.

How do you clean carpets?

After a good vacuum we spray your carpet with a cleaning product (sometimes referred to as a Micro splitter)  This is spread throughout your carpet using a machine called a pile lifter.  Once the carpet cleaning agent has broken down the soils we flush this from the carpet with high pressurised steaming hot water, this is all vacuumed straight out of your home.  Your carpet will be left slightly damp and should be dry within 2 - 4 hours.

I have some stains on my carpet, will it cost more to remove these?

Not at all, some carpet stains may be permanent but we do have a great stain removal success rate.

Do we need to move the furniture?

No, we will move what needs to be moved, your sofa can simply be moved to one side as can your dining table etc.

Chewing gum and crayon carpet stains

For these, you need to use undiluted vinegar. To remove crayon stains, tackle the spot directly by dipping an old toothbrush in vinegar and blotting the stained area.

If you find a dried blob of white school glue on your carpet, try treating it with a vinegar and water solution sponged in and blotted. However, if the spot is stubborn, warm up the vinegar a little bit in your microwave and sponge it in undiluted.  Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then scrape it away. Clean up any residue using the vinegar and water solution.

Greasy marks

Sprinkle it with a li­ttle cornmeal and allow it to sit for five minutes. Next, sponge the area with vinegar and water.

Red Wine spill

When you have a brand-new red wine spill on a light-colored carpet, sprinkle the spill with salt and let it sit for 15 minutes. The salt will absorb the spill and will turn pink. After brushing or vacuuming the salt away, clean the area with a mixture of 1/3 cup vinegar and 2/3 cup water.
